Ahaha, serious?! 5-story pokemon building... And live action?!! I'd be sooo embarrassed to be the people playing them! XD But good. Pokemon needs to go into the "burn archives of anime" along with Sailormoon... XD Waaah~ One spoiler that I didn't actually read I want to read it myself! Not that I've read any of Nodame really... Well, really really little! Is XXXHolic even done yet? I thought that one was coming out waaay slower than Tsubasa. But yah, the whole clone thing and clone of a clone and all that crap is like... What the heck?!! Sci-fi?!?! Even sci-fi isn't that crazy weird.

O_o Wow....CLAMP have really outdone themselves this time. I tried to follow some of the TRC chapters but I gave up very, very soon. I already knew what waited me. Awww, and I thought at least Nodame had some kind of normal conclusion....Lol, thanks for the spoiler Pegasus. XD 5-story Pok....5-sto-...5? O__O Oh, holy crack, that was a lot of colorfulness and cute, little voices in one building! .___.

Lol about the pokemon building, I KNOW! And apparently at the really big building they had like a giant Charazard hanging from the ceiling and these huuuuuuuuuuggggggggggeeeeeeee replicas. My friend had photos because he wanted to visit there while we were in Japan. (We didn't know 1. where it was to begin with and 2. that they had already moved.)
Even so, we were in this giant like 5 story toy store in Harajuku and one floor was dedicated to pokemon stuff. I was frightened. (Another floor was dedicated to Hello Kitty.)
And what's funny about the whole pokemon TV thing is that in addition to pokemon episodes and live action pokemon they also have like... pokemon variety shows. That's the best way to describe it. Some people are dressed like the characters, like Ash and Misty, and they like... play these challenges with kids. Sorta like the green goo stuff from Nickelodeon. They would have like... obstacle courses and then talking portions. I'm not sure what they were saying though... I think I'm glad that I couldn't understand it at that point.
And yes, TRC was.... confusing. And Yes XXXHolic is coming out waaaaaaaaaaayyyyy slower... but the newest arc SPOILER Is where Watanaki has now taken over the shop, so he never ages and he can't leave the shop so Doumeki does all of the food shopping for him and everything and Watanaki is waiting for Yuuko, who basically finally died. I sorta think Watanaki has LOST IT, but whatever. They REALLY jumped a lot though. I think Doumeki is supposed to be in college now? Or he's looking at colleges? Something like that.

Why am I not surprised?! Ahaha! Seriously... The Japanese seem to have obsessions with the weirdest things! Like when I was in Japan, in all the accessory stores, I saw Care Bear stuff, Mr. and Miss stuff, Sesame Street... Mr. and Miss is like those Mr. Messy or Miss Sunshine stuff... I dunno if anyone else remembers that but it's like those mini children's books and they're like shape characters...
And Hello Kitty was some ambassador for something or other... Like what the heck?! It's a fictional character!!!
*sigh* What's with Clamp and doing all these screwy series?! It seems like most of them have a decent start and stuff, and then it's like... >_> WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!
haha, did they mention anything about the connection between Doumeki and Watanuki??
Speaking of Clamp though... I thought one of those WHAT THE HECK?! endings was the Angelic Layer manga ending!! The anime was really cute, I have to admit. But just the whole reason why her mother left and everything?! Like sooo screwy... >_< The anime ending was different from the manga ending. Anime one was believable, but the manga one... Weirder than weird to me.
I won't say that all of them are weird and disappointing, but for the most part, they start out pretty good and then turn okay... Which is kind of a bummer. And not cuz of anything except their plot line! I mean, come on. Clamp is KNOWN for their beautiful artwork and everything! So why must the storyline turn into some crazier than crazy thing...?

XD I still remember being all like: "O____o WTF?" after watching that movie.....I mean, that last scene with Kamui holding Fuuma's head in his arms was just 'No, I don't think I'd like to see that in real life, thank you very much, k?'

I think there's been only ONE Clamp manga I've ever read that didn't end with a totally BIZZARO twist or something.
I mean you love Clamp because, as you said, they have gorgeous artwork plus in the beginning, before everything gets tripped-out-tricky, the characters and plot line seem to be REALLY good.
Annnnddd then like 25 episodes in a 50 episode series you're like "O_o I thinka they're-a smokin' a' something."
And then when you get to the end of the anime you're like "...o_O I thinka I a' mighta accidentally smoked 'a something."
And then when you read the MANGA and get to the point where the MANGA is you're like "Wow... gateway drugs worked for them."
Clamp is a prime example of great plots and great characters GONE REALLY WRONG!!!
Plus what is with their obsession of re-using characters over and over again?! I mean Sakura in Tsubasa and cardcaptors is cute, but she doesn't warrent having two of her own stupid series. ESPECIALLY THAT STUPID LITTLE SHYARON! (And yes, I'm to the point where I'm spelling his name wrong on purpose.) Like in some ways it's sorta cool.... but not so in other ways.

That one was crazy!!! And like someone died every 5 minutes or something... Like what the heck >_< I know they were trying to cram the entire manga into a movie, but seriously?!?! The whole movie was like: "Hello, I'm Kamui. I decided to become a dragon of heaven and since I did, now we must fight. I will protect Kotori and Fuuma." Fuuma turned out to be my opposite... (dragon of earth "leader") "NOOOO~~~" First pair dies... Second pair dies... Third pair dies... Fuuma does some crazy crap cuz he's pure evil now... More people die... Final battle! "I mustn't let Fuuma do whatever he wants, even though I am the last one left out of everyone (or the world? can't remember). I will kill him. It's the only way I can stop him..." *Kills Fuuma* "NOOOO~~~" *grabs his decapitated head and hugs it to self* "I can't believe I killed him..." THE END ***** Seriously! What the heck?! I won't say that there aren't Clamp series that I like, because there are! I actually liked Wish. And I *did* like Cardcaptor Sakura. But then the whole regurgitation process of reusing and OVERusing characters was like... >_< Oh, and I did like MKR even if the girls can be cookie cutter... Overall though, I tend to shy away from their stuff because I'm expecting 1) too much hype just because they're popular, and 2) screwy plotline/endings.

Lol I loved your little movie plot summary there. XD Had me laughing pretty hard. And I agree, I thought Cardcaptor Sakura was cute, and it was one of the few Clamp series that didn't get totally screwed up 15 episodes into the anime. I also liked MKR too... but I didn't really like the ending. T_T I used to adore XXXHolic, but now it's sooooo screwed up. Kobato, which is also a new anime this season, is actually pretty interesting because the main chika, Kobato, is new BUT she also runs into a lot of the old characters. BUT it's more realistic. Like in the manga in one panel you can see cardcaptor Sakura's brother Toya in the background working at one of his jobs. He doesn't really meet Kobato, he's just there for his job. BUT on the downside you run into a lot of clamp characters. It makes me want to continue my rant of: CLAMP!! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE YOUR OLD CHARACTERS ALONE!?!? Tsubasa I abandoned because it went all weirdo.

Lol I loved your little movie plot summary there. XD Had me laughing pretty hard. I was serious though! That's like preeetty much how the movie pans out within an hour and a half. The only thing I really liked from that movie was the song... Lolz~ What was the ending for MKR again? I can't remember the manga ending. I actually liked the anime though. Even watched both seasons! XD I actually liked XXXHolic more than Tsubasa at the beginning, but I didn't love it. Mostly cuz the main character was a new person. But then knowing how long and twisted their series get... Didn't follow it. It only came back under the radar cuz my friend wanted to chat about the Tsubasa end... Which turned out to be super duper screwy >_>;; Go figure. What's that Kobato one about? I always get kind of turned off knowing that CLAMP did the series... Ahaha! Like really, I do honestly love the artwork and everything... BUT... Always just expecting it to go weird and stuff. So why bother since I don't want to follow some twisted story anyways...

Kobato is this chick who suddenly plops down on earth with a talking stuffed animal dog that is her supervisor. We don't know who she is or where she comes from, but she has a wish. And that wish is to go someplace. In order to fufill that wish she has to fill a little class bottle with pieces of candy that represent scarred hearts that she healed.
Kinda a dorky set up, but that little dog thing totally rocks my socks!!
The really only mysterous aspect is that we don't know where she came from (which just watch, I bet she's a sakura clone from Tsubasa or something equally as stupid) and for some odd reason she has to wear a hat at all times.

Lol, I'd also bet she's some twisted Sakura clone from Tsubasa...or maybe another Sakura from another dimension....maybe even her long lost twin sister/cousin/mother/who knows really? ......maybe she's hiding cat ears! :O

Mmm Yes, I would hold off all judgement until I get further in the show. Who knows, maybe 's an alien?? People have speculated that she's supposed to be an angel. I am just like "Please don't be a clone or I'm gonna go Star Wars on you."
